Pharmacy context
This is a busy pharmacy located inside the Parkhead healthcare hub, a modern purpose-built building which proivdes a number of community health and social care services in the east end of Glasgow. The pharmacy's main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. And it provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to help people take their medicines at the right times. The pharmacist supplies medicines and advice under the NHS Pharmacy First service. And team members provide advice on minor ailments and medicines’ use. This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in February 2025.
