  • Counts include active pharmacies on the relevant nation register only — not historical or deregistered sites.
  • City totals are pre-calculated and refreshed when NHS data updates; figures on this page match those calculations.
  • Do not add city counts together for a UK-wide total — some areas overlap (for example Westminster and London) and many pharmacies sit outside these civic city pages.
