Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is co-located in a health centre with three GP practices and a mental health team in Lower Ince, Wigan. NHS dispensing is the main activity, and it also provides a number of other NHS services including Pharmacy First, the New Medicine Service (NMS), contraception, hypertension service and the seasonal flu and Covid-19 booster vaccination services. The pharmacy also provides a private weight loss and ear wax removal service. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in March 2016.
