Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy on a busy street in Brighton. The surrounding area is largely residential. The pharmacy provides NHS services such as dispensing, the Pharmacy First Service, and the New Medicine Service. It also provides a private travel clinic, using prescriptions issued by a company prescriber. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this additional support in taking their medicines. And these packs are usually dispensed by the company’s dispensing hub. The pharmacy offers a delivery service to people’s homes. This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in June 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 2.2. This reinspection focused on that Standard which had previously not been met. Following the initial inspection, the pharmacy provided evidence that team members are now enrolled on relevant courses.
