Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy in a residential area of Brighton. It mainly provides NHS services such as dispensing and sells medicines over the counter. It provides seasonal flu vaccinations and the Pharmacy First service. It supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to a large number of people who need this additional support. And it offers a delivery service. This was a reinspection following an inspection in February 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.2. This reinspection focused largely on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy had put a system in place to record dispensing mistakes and there was evidence that staff were recording them.
