Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This is a Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) in a residential area of Drayton on the northern outskirts of Portsmouth. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. It also sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines and provides health advice. The pharmacy offers flu vaccinations in the autumn and winter seasons. And home deliveries for those who cannot get to the pharmacy themselves. This was a reinspection following an inspection in August 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 4.3. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy can now show that its team members understand and follow the correct process when assembling people's prescriptions. It can also show that they regularly check and record the temperatures inside its fridges, to help make sure that any medicines stored inside are safe for people to take.
