This is an online pharmacy which people can access through the pharmacy's websites https://www.chemist-4-u.com/ and https://my-bmi.co.uk/, or the pharmacy's mobile application. It is situated on an industrial estate in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medicines through its website. It also dispenses prescriptions for a variety of third-party services, including some NHS contracted services. It also has an in-house private prescribing service which provides weight loss services, and treatments for other common conditions. Most of the medicines it supplies are delivered using a national courier company. This was a reinspection following an inspection in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.1. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. The inspection also included Standard 1.4. The pharmacy had created a robust risk assessment process with regular reviews due to be completed. The pharmacy had implemented a full consultation process for the medicines it prescribes to help manage the side-effects associated with weight loss medicines. It had stopped prescribing weight loss medicines in 'bundles' until it had suitable controls in place to manage its usage and make sure supplies are made safely. The pharmacy also improved the level of information it gathered to allow its prescribers to make safer clinical decisions when prescribing medicines for asthma conditions.
