Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located within a parade of shops in the city centre of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. It dispenses NHS prescriptions, sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines and it supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to a couple of people who need assistance in managing their medicines safely at home. The pharmacy also provides the NHS Pharmacy First service, New Medicine service, hypertension case finding service, discharge medicines service, pharmacy contraception service, and seasonal flu vaccinations. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was previously inspected in 2016.
