What are GPhC inspection reports?
The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located next to a surgery in a retail park. It dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people. The pharmacy offers some NHS services such flu vaccinations and the Pharmacy First service. And it provides a prescription delivery service for people who cannot get to the pharmacy. This was a reinspection following an inspection in October 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.6 and 4.2. The pharmacy has changed ownership since the last inspection. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. It had updated its standard operating procedures, and team members had read and signed them. The pharmacy is now maintaining the necessary responsible pharmacist (RP) records and it now has the necessary signed patient group directions (PGDs) in place to provide the Pharmacy First service safely. Enforcement action has been taken against this pharmacy, which remains in force at the time of this inspection, and there are restrictions on the provision of some services. The enforcement action taken allows the pharmacy to continue providing other services, which are not affected by the restrictions imposed.
