Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy on a parade of shops in a largely residential area of Maidstone. It provides NHS services such as the New Medicine Service, the Pharmacy First service and Hypertension Case Finding service. It provides a flu and COVID vaccinations using patient group directions. And it supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support. And it supplies medicines in original packs to one care home. It delivers medicines to some people’s homes. And it also provides supervised administration of certain medicines. Most of the pharmacy's dispensing is done by the company's offsite dispensing hub. This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in February 2020 and all standards were met.
