Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

The pharmacy is in a retail park in Clifton Moorgate, near York. It dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines. Pharmacy team members provide other healthcare services including the NHS Pharmacy First Service, NHS Blood Pressure Check Service and Covid-19 booster vaccinations. The pharmacy also provides medicines to some people in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicines properly. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes. This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in November 2015.
