Inspection Reports

What are GPhC inspection reports?

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is located a residential area within the same building as a medical centre in the town of Felixstowe in Suffolk. It provides a variety of services including dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions, the Pharmacy First service, travel vaccinations and a weight loss service under Patient Group Directions (PGDs). It also provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need extra support taking their medicines. This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was previously inspected in December 2015.
