What are GPhC inspection reports?
The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspects registered pharmacies against five standards. Reports show whether the pharmacy met the standards, with improvement or enforcement action where needed. Premises ID is the same as the pharmacy's GPhC registration number.

Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy within a parade of shops on a main street in Newton Mearns. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. And it provides medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs and compliance pouches to help people take their medicines at the right times. The pharmacist provides a range of private services including travel vaccinations and a weight management service. This was a reinspection following an inspection in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not need Standards 1.6 and 4.3. The reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection team members have maintained records of fridge temperatures to show medicines are safe to supply. They have conducted investigations to resolve discrepancies with their records for higher-risk medicines. And they complete regular checks of these medicines to ensure records are accurate.
