Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in the town of Lochgelly in Fife. It dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells over-the counter medicines. It provides medicines for some people in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medicine at the right time. And it acts as a hub pharmacy assembling medicines in compliance packs, known as pouches, for other pharmacies in the same company. The pharmacy team provide NHS Pharmacy First and Pharmacy First Plus services. And they offer private services including travel clinic services and ear wax removal. This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in September 2019.
